TaVaci Performance
Cooper is in a singing/performing arts group that he loves. They had their Christmas program this past weekend. He could not contain his excitement!
Ballet Recital
Brooklyn had a little recital. She was so excited and didn't even get nervous. All of my pictures turned out dark. Sad. But she was dang cute!

Visiting Andrea and Thanksgiving
I went to Colorado with my sister, Jenny, to visit my sis, Andrea and see her new little baby! It was so much fun but I forgot my camera. We mostly just hung around her apartment and took turns holding Aliyah. I loved being there without any responsibility! We did go to dinner and to see Twilight on the last night! It was so good. I'm so thankful that I have a super husband and mom who took care of the kids and even had the house clean when I got back!

Then we left the next day for Boise for Thanksgiving at Troy's aunt's house. His whole family was there so the kids were thrilled to see their cousins. I really didn't get many pictures but here are a few.
Now my children are obsessed with the Wii. They thought Rock Band was awesome. So did Troy. I'm in trouble because it's all they want for Christmas now!

The MTC
We took my brother Jed to the MTC a couple weeks ago. I really hate that place. Jed is one of Troy's best friends and my childrens' too! Because we live next to my parents', we are all extremely close and see my family daily. The kids adore their aunts and uncles and are especially attached to Jed because he always made an effort to come play with them. I miss him coming over to say "Hey Baby" to Brooklyn and Camden and asking if Cooper can come out and play soccer.

Boys, the trouble with Boys!
Why is it that boys aren't required to "grow up"? Troy and my brothers love mountain biking, no matter the weather. Here's proof that three heads are not better than one in situations involving boys!

Halloween!
We had a great Halloween, mostly because we didn't spend it in the ER like last year! The kids got plenty of candy and everyone was happy.

Camden did not want to wear the fireman hat.

Trying to take it off and running away during the pictures

Pretty Princess

We figured out how to keep his hat on, put candy in both hands!

Pinewood Derby
We had an Elder's quorum party and the men made pinewood derby cars to race. Troy and my brother Jed spend hours and hours on their little project. They made a train that could come apart and compete in all 4 categories. They even dressed the part because they always must be the entertainment at all gatherings. Boys will be boys I guess! Things always get crazy when Troy and my brothers get their minds working together. It made me realize how different things will be in a month when Jed is on his mission. But in the mean time they spend lots of time playing!

They made a big show about bringing their train in a locked box and opening it and unwrapping each part. There you go Dad Hartman, I hope you are proud you instilled this in him!

My Birthday
Yesterday was my 27th birthday. Sad. Anyway, my amazing husband, along with some help from my parents and in-laws, got me a top of the line BOSCH! I have been wanting one and had no idea that they were $400. But my husband seems to think I'm worth it or at least he wants the fruits of it's labors! Really I don't consider myself the best baker, but this is going to help me a ton! I'm so excited especially because the first loaves of wheat bread I made today turned out pretty darn good! So thank you babe. Thanks for the sacrifice you made to get it for me. I really do love it already. And I love you!

Bicycles and Ballet
Cooper learned to ride a bike with no training wheels! It only took a trip to the church parking lot and daddy holding on a couple times and he was good to go! He is loving his new found freedom.

It was observation week at ballet and so I caught a few pictures. Brooklyn loves ballet and asks if it's ballet day every single day. It's the greatest thing ever for her!
Before they go into class they must all sit and read a book to wait until everyone is ready, then they each curtsy to Miss Michelle before entering the studio. It's so adorable. Camden was not helpful during the observation so I spend most of the time chasing him and not so much getting cute pictures.
