Happy 5th Birthday Cooper!

How is it possible that I have a 5 year old??? I don't know how that ever happened but it did and I love him. He was up at 3:30 am wandering around looking at the decorations and watching t.v. because he was so excited for his birthday! He had a "Cars" birthday and luckily he thought our pathetic attempts were great!

I made the cake and my mom bought him the cars to place on the track

He mostly got stuff for T-ball because he can play this summer! He also is signed up to play soccer. How is he old enough for these things?

Happy Birthday Cooper! We love you!!!

Tagged

I got tagged by Stephanie and Julia. A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginningB. After the player answers the questions about themselves they tag 5 others and leave them a comment on their blog letting them know they have been tagged.

10 Years ago I was 16 and driving my sweet Pontiac Grand Am. I was probably doing a play at Heritage Theater in Perry.

5 things on my "to do" list: (I'll do tomorrow since it's Sunday night now)
1. Take Cooper and cupcakes to preschool (it's his birthday!)
2. Clean the house so we can have a party
3. Wrap the presents
4. Make cake, frost and decorate it
5. Love and adore my husband (he's insisting that I put that ;) )

5 places I have lived:
1. Memphis, Tennessee
2. Lexington, Kentucky
3. Rexburg and Rigby, Idaho
4. Cheney, Washington
5. Brigham City, Utah

3 bad habits:
1. Getting pregnant (only kidding, Troy said that!)
2. Leaving laundry unfolded or in the dryer
3. Piles of stuff I need to put away but instead the piles get bigger

5 jobs I've had:
1. My dad's office
2. Brigham Medical Clinic (file girls forever, Steph!)
3. Legal Assistant
4. Flying J Corporate offices
5. Preschool teacher
Mommy and Wife!

If I was suddenly a billionaire I would buy a house, pay off our student loans and cars, get my husband's private practice started, go to Europe, go to NYC every month, college fund for kids, charity, buy my husband 4-wheelers, boat and snowmobiles! Oh and I would hire a maid!!!

Things I enjoy:
Dancing with my kids to musical soundtracks, my husband coming home from work, weekends, going on trips, singing, going on walks, Christmas, summer, reading and spending time with family.

Things you might not know about me:
I sing Bluegrass music with my family.
I lived on an Indian Reservation for 3 months.
I want to go back to school eventually but have no idea what I'll major in anymore.
I'm a sucker for traditions and I won't change any of mine because I'm afraid of change.
I hate water with "things" in it (meaning, I only like swimming pools)

I'm tagging Jill, Heather and Andrea.

Rexburg Temple Open House

We had the opportunity to take our children to the Rexburg Temple open house. My mom, Caleb and Hannah came with us and we all stayed in a hotel together. We met Jenny there because she goes to school at BYU-I. The children enjoyed it and we had a wonderful experience!

The day was very cold and foggy so we didn't get good pictures but here is the temple.

Brooklyn started out on the floor but climbed into bed with Grandma and Hannah

Playing in the pool

After the temple tour we enjoyed pizza buffet at Craigo's. For those of you who went to school there and remember it, they have moved and upgraded. It was so yummy!

Jenny may kill me for putting this picture on but she still looks beautiful while stuffing her face. She could have won the contest for eating the most if Caleb wasn't there!

1st Haircut!!!

Poor Camden really needed a haircut! We actually did it a month ago but I'm just now getting around to posting it. Troy wouldn't have anything to do with it because he couldn't bear to see it cut but I had to get it out of his eyes!

He would not stop wiggling during the whole thing so that made it hard

It's not a great picture of the finished product but at least he can see now!

PJ boys

Andrea (my sister) made these pj bottoms for my boys. They are so cute and cozy!

Christmas...finally!

Cooper and Brooklyn were the cutest Joseph and Mary ever!

Cooper and his MP3 player! Santa must be crazy!

Troy always gives me such thoughtful gifts. 2 years ago he made me a beautiful high-backed wooden bench, last year he wrote a journal starting with when we met, and this year he made a black and white 16 X 20 picture of the kids and had it framed. It is beautiful and I love it! I'm so lucky to have him.
