Daddy's Little Princess

Brooklyn really is a Daddy's girl. She loves her mommy too but she has a special bond with her daddy. So she was thrilled to be going on a date with him to the Princess Wishes on Ice. She even bragged to me that she was "going on a date with daddy and not you, ha ha". She has Troy wrapped around her finger and he cannot say no to her. He just HAD to get her a princess dress. It was completely his doing, not mine. She was delighted and had a great time. So did her daddy!

Brookie's favorite princess "Ariel"

Could she be any more happy?!

Cooper, Camden and I also went out on a Mother/Son date but there are no pictures. We went out to dinner and Cooper spent his birthday money from an uncle on a toy dinosaur. He missed Brooklyn and wondered why his date wasn't as long as hers!

Sick of being sick

There is a reason I haven't posted for so long. We have all been sick for forever. Colds, ear infections, stomach viruses. Yes, we have had it all. Hopefully it will end and we can get on with our lives and have a little fun. In fact we are starting tonight. It's Daddy/Daughter and Mother/Sons date night! Pictures to come....

Sittin' pretty

Camden may be the laziest sitter I've had. Once he gets tired of sitting for a second, he throws himself down. I finally got some pictures of him sitting up.

Now he's down

We finally brought out the highchair and he loved it. He kept making funny faces and banging on the table.

I can't believe my baby is 8 months old!

Ride 'em Cowboys!

Troy's parents came for a visit and Grandpa Dan brought his homemade Christmas gift to the kids. It's a darling rocking horse. He did a lot of work on it and we love it! We miss you Grandma and Grandpa!

Cooper had to put the cowboy dress-ups on in order to ride!

Brooklyn wasn't so sure about the "buckin' bronco" at first but now she can get on all by herself.

Yes, it really can hold me. I realize Camden looks drugged in this picture, he is! He's had 2 double ear infections in the past few weeks and was a miserable little baby. That's over, but now he's teething!

Happy 5th Birthday Cooper!

How is it possible that I have a 5 year old??? I don't know how that ever happened but it did and I love him. He was up at 3:30 am wandering around looking at the decorations and watching t.v. because he was so excited for his birthday! He had a "Cars" birthday and luckily he thought our pathetic attempts were great!

I made the cake and my mom bought him the cars to place on the track

He mostly got stuff for T-ball because he can play this summer! He also is signed up to play soccer. How is he old enough for these things?

Happy Birthday Cooper! We love you!!!

Tagged

I got tagged by Stephanie and Julia. A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginningB. After the player answers the questions about themselves they tag 5 others and leave them a comment on their blog letting them know they have been tagged.

10 Years ago I was 16 and driving my sweet Pontiac Grand Am. I was probably doing a play at Heritage Theater in Perry.

5 things on my "to do" list: (I'll do tomorrow since it's Sunday night now)
1. Take Cooper and cupcakes to preschool (it's his birthday!)
2. Clean the house so we can have a party
3. Wrap the presents
4. Make cake, frost and decorate it
5. Love and adore my husband (he's insisting that I put that ;) )

5 places I have lived:
1. Memphis, Tennessee
2. Lexington, Kentucky
3. Rexburg and Rigby, Idaho
4. Cheney, Washington
5. Brigham City, Utah

3 bad habits:
1. Getting pregnant (only kidding, Troy said that!)
2. Leaving laundry unfolded or in the dryer
3. Piles of stuff I need to put away but instead the piles get bigger

5 jobs I've had:
1. My dad's office
2. Brigham Medical Clinic (file girls forever, Steph!)
3. Legal Assistant
4. Flying J Corporate offices
5. Preschool teacher
Mommy and Wife!

If I was suddenly a billionaire I would buy a house, pay off our student loans and cars, get my husband's private practice started, go to Europe, go to NYC every month, college fund for kids, charity, buy my husband 4-wheelers, boat and snowmobiles! Oh and I would hire a maid!!!

Things I enjoy:
Dancing with my kids to musical soundtracks, my husband coming home from work, weekends, going on trips, singing, going on walks, Christmas, summer, reading and spending time with family.

Things you might not know about me:
I sing Bluegrass music with my family.
I lived on an Indian Reservation for 3 months.
I want to go back to school eventually but have no idea what I'll major in anymore.
I'm a sucker for traditions and I won't change any of mine because I'm afraid of change.
I hate water with "things" in it (meaning, I only like swimming pools)

I'm tagging Jill, Heather and Andrea.
