Brooklyn's 4th Birthday!

It's hard to believe that our little girl is 4! She was so excited for her birthday this year and requested "creamy chicken noodle soup" for her dinner. Luckily it was a rainy day so soup was a good choice. She wanted a ballerina cake and I was prepared to attempt a cake that looked like ballet slippers, but she wanted a toy on it so Troy found a barbie ballerina and she was happy.

She got a "big girl" bed and was so excited.
New bedding
Snow white dress!

Waiting to blow out the candles
All dolled up
Hanging out on her new bed
Happy Birthday BROOKLYN!

Too much going on

May is crazy! Cooper had his spring TaVaci concert and the video will not load right so maybe I'll try later.
I enjoyed Mother's Day. Troy made chicken cordon bleu, roasted garlic mashed potatoes and strawberry spinach salad. He even invited my grandma so we had 3 generations of mothers sitting out on the porch while he cooked!
Here are some pictures taken at almost 30 weeks.

We have also had soccer to keep us busy too.

Friday, Cooper had Kindergarten graduation. They sang songs and did the cutest little dance. (The video is not good because my camera died but notice that Cooper is the only one dancing with the opposite gender. Troy was so proud!) He got the award for "Most Compassionate". I can't believe he's done with Kindergarten!

Troy and I headed out for Park City for Friday and Saturday. Did some garage saleing, my favorite, and got some fun stuff.
Then it was Brooklyn's birthday on Sunday and her ballet recital will be this week. I will have to post all of that later.

Updates

I love when spring comes and brings all of it's changes (except the sickness and allergies). We are enjoying the weather when it is nice. School is nearing it's end, recitals and concerts are coming up and love is in the air!
My sister, Jenny, got engaged this past week and we are very excited for her. The kids are thrilled to be getting a new uncle. Josh is very sweet and good to the kids and we all love him. More importantly he adores Jenny!

Our kids are funny and tell Josh he can't kiss Jenny on the lips because they aren't married. So when Josh came to tell them the news, he said "Guess what? I can kiss Aunt Jenny on the lips 'cause I'm going to marry her!"
I had my 28 week appt. this week and passed my glucose test, but not the iron count. More pills. The baby is doing well but my Dr. said she looks Ethiopian because she's so skinny. I will post a belly shot some day on here when I take one for those of you who have asked to see one. And no, she's not even close to having a name. So don't ask!

Disneyland continued...

Enjoying the rides

With Grandpa Dan

Not the true king I guess
Brooklyn only cared about meeting the princesses. She was so cute with them!
Cooper refused to be in any pictures with princesses. Camden didn't seem to thrilled about it either. Someday they will regret that!

She was so excited to see Sleeping Beauty since she was wearing that dress that day!
Watching my children enjoy things was worth all the money we spent

All in their mouse ears

Camden and Grandma Barbara on the Toy Story 3D ride

Brooklyn showing her giant cookie
All tuckered out

Our dear friends, the Astons, drove 4 1/2 hours to meet us for dinner and visiting! Thanks again for coming. It was great to see you!

Brooklyn throwing a tantrum at the hotel
Disneyland was great! Troy's parents watched the kids for a couple of hours so just the two of us could get a little date and go back on a couple of rides and get ice cream! Thanks Mom and Dad Hartman for all the help on the trip! We can't wait to go back in a few years!

Disneyland!!!

We had a wonderful trip to Disneyland (minus the 9 times total the kids threw up in the car)! Troy's parents came along and we had a great time.
First we had to stop off to take a picture in Arizona to send to Uncle Jed (on a mission there)

Then we took a break to visit friends in Vegas

Finally we made it to the Magic Kingdom!
Met Mickey Mouse
Brooklyn was in awe of the castle

Rode the rides

My mom made Brooklyn this darling Alice in Wonderland dress and she wore it hoping to get her picture taken with Alice. Everyone commented on how adorable she was and she just walked around smiling all day.

We did meet Alice but not until the next day when she didn't have her dress on.
Troy, Cooper and Dan on Splash Mountain

Brooklyn meeting Tinkerbelle and her fairy friends.

Cooper got picked out of the audience twice to dance in the parade.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Troy made green pancakes for breakfast!

Then we made green cupcakes...
and shared them with friends!
